This high quality adjustable telescopic microfishing rod is manufactured by the famous TIEMCO company. Micro fishing has long been popular in Japan. Anglers there have it down to an art. But this equipment is tough to find in the US.

This TIEMCO rods are not cheap. But the price reflects the quality. There are less expensive rods available for microfishing. We carry several. But if you want a fine rod that is well-made and super sensitive, this is it.

The 456 Akatsuri is a “three step rod.” This means you can adjust it to be three different sizes. Those sizes are 4’9″, 5’5″, or 6’1″.

When collapsed, the rod is only 12 inches. So you can easily slip it in a backpack, vest, or pocket.

This rod is great for microfishing or even targeting small trout in a variety of situations. Comes packaged in a plastic box and includes a cloth carrying case.
